Food Industry - Sample Project 1

A UK/Wales Powder Products Manufacturer required a new control system for production of a revolutionary tasteless human consumable powder containing >90% protein used in health & fitness food and drinks.
Adsyst supplied a total Allen Bradley solution encompassing two RSView SCADA systems, PLC5-40, Panelview HMI, 1305/1336 VSD’s, Softstarts, DOL’s, All MCC, Power Distribution (240 & 110 vac) and ICA panels.
Implementation:- FDS, Control panel design/build/supply, PLC and SCADA h/w and s/w supply, PLC and SCADA s/w development, FATS, onsite commissioning, SATS, final documentation. A SCADA system interface provides full manual override control of all plant I.e. auto, manual on/open, manual off/closed.Operational sequences for production and CIP are easily modified by the user via the SCADA system. The PLC system communicates on a high speed local area network (LAN) which, along with a modern link to our Yateley office, allows remote support of PLC and SCADA systems. A local printer allows data logging of critical points in CIP sequences for quality control.
