Finishing industry - Sample project 1
A USSR/Moscow printed circuit board manufacturer (research and development company) required a new control system for two new electroplating lines – electrolytic and electroless applications.
One PLC and SCADA system was provided for each of the two lines. Each SCADA system used surface area, current density, quantity to equate an operating current for each load. This calculated current was “tracked in memory” down the line and then used for both rectifier control and auto dosing A/Hr totalisation.
FDS, PLC and SCADA s/w development, PLC and MCC control panel build, FATS, onsite commissioning (in USSR) final documentation, and training.
Dynamic control of 16 heaters was installed, some with cooling, and 17 rectifiers. Control of level and dosing equipment was included. Each TR had two speed traverse and hoist facilities. Production report automatically printed daily. Operators could select up to 3 different programs, per line, each program could be easily altered using a sequential coding system.

INDIA/Ahamdabad printed circuit board manufacturer required a new control system for a large new electroplating line. Each TR required to carry two circuit boards and the rectifiers are to plate back-to-back for each board.
One PLC and SCADA system was provided. The SCADA system used surface area, current density, quantity to equate an operating current for each load. This calculated current was “tracked in memory” down the line and then used for both rectifier control and auto dosing A/Hr totalisation.
